How does this whole thing work? What’s the process?
Upon receiving payment, we will send you a project brief for you to complete. The project brief is important as it helps us better understand your needs and preferences and gives up vital background information so that we can begin the creative development process. If we have any additional questions, we’ll reach out to you to discuss in greater detail.
Do I really need to do that project brief? Can't we just "wing it?"
The brief helps streamline the entire process and, besides, the questions we ask in the brief are critical not just for the branding process, but also for your business vision. Many clients have thanked us for sending them the brief as it forced them to think about their business in ways that hadn't previously considered.
What if I don’t like the options you send? Will I have to pay again for more alternatives to review?
No, absolutely not. You always will only pay one flat fee for each of our services. If you feel that the options we’ve sent don’t respond to your needs or you'd like to see additional ideas, we’ll be hapyy to send you another round of work. We offer unlimited revisions and stand by this offer until you’re ecstatic with the finished result. In the long run, we’d much rather have you rave about us to your friends and contacts vs. trying to “nickel and dime” you to make a few extra bucks.
How long does it normally take?
For most projects, you usually receive first options within 2-3 business days once we've received the completed project brief.
Some of the other companies I checked out seem to work solely via email. Can we speak to you during the project if we need to?
Definitely. We’re always available from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST, Monday through Saturday. You can reach us at 1-866-7- SLOGAN (1-866-775-6426). You can also connect with us on Skype- username: thesloganshop. In addition, we’ll always respond to emails at info@thesloganshop in a timely fashion.
Do you really guarantee your work?
Absolutely. If you’re not satisfied- we will return 100% of your payment.
Does this happen a lot?
No, absolutely not. We work closely with our clients to ensure that it's an interactive process. We get to know you and your needs and we ask that you provide constructive criticism along the way. This collaboration helps ensure that we deliver work that effectively and accurately address your needs.
Will I get full ownership of the work you produce?
Yes. All of our projects are “for hire” meaning that you will own the intellectual property rights to the name, slogan/tagline, logo etc that you chose- as long as you've paid for our services. The only exception would be in the case that you asked for a refund and then still proceeded to use the work we had done for you.
My stuff if confidential. Can you sign a confidentiality or NDA agreement?
Absolutely. If confidentiality is an issue for you, we’re happy to sign an agreement and we will always respect your confidentiality in the process.
I don’t have a Paypal account. Can I just pay with a credit card?
Yes, the Paypal system accepts credit card payments, even if you don’t have a Paypal account. Refer to the section on the invoice page, after clicking “Buy now” that says “Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available).” This is normally located on the left-hand side.
Any other ways to pay?
Bank transfers are acceptable as well as wire services such as Western Union or MoneyGram.
This sounds great, but I’m still nervous. Can I just pay you afterwards?
No, we charge for our work upfront and offer you a money-back guarantee. Since our work, particularly the naming and slogan creation, is mostly word based, we would have absolutely no protection if we just sent off the next “Just Do It” to you without having been paid anything. On our more extensive branding packages, however, if you would to pay 50% upfront and 50% upon completion, we can arrange this. Just contact us and we’ll send an invoice for half of the total.
Do you only provide slogans? What other services do you offer?
Not at all. We have expert copywriting and design skills. We do as much work in developing names and logos, for instance, as we do creating slogans. We offer writing services for brochures, websites etc. as well as web design and a host of graphic design services. Do you develop slogans (and logos, etc) for projects that aren't for a company or brand?
Yes. We've had numerous politicians as clients as well as authors and filmmakers. These projects are exciting and always welcomed here at The Slogan Shop.
Do you work with international clients?
Certainly. We've worked with over twenty countries so far and actively embrace overseas clients. Although we're based in the US, we have extensive experience in global branding and most of our team is multi-lingual and has spent at least part of their career working abroad. Founder Stephen Conley is fluent in Spanish and has worked extensively with Spain and Latin America during his career.
